NCPUL to hold interactive session with representatives of NGOs, schools, Madarsas on Dec 9

Panaji, Dec 7 (UNI) A one-day interactive session with the representatives of different Non Governmental Organisations, schools, Madarsas and other institutions will be held under the aegis of National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) at Hotel Fidalgo in the city on December 9.
Addressing a press conference at Shram Shakti Bhavan in the city, NCPUL Director Dr Shaikh Aquil Ahmad said the basic thrust behind the programme was to have an interaction with the representatives of various schools, Madarsas, Non-Government Organisations and institutions to inform them about various schemes of the Council, to understand their problems and to look for solution for providing the benefits to target group within existing schemes.
''This is also my perception that the stakeholders of North East, Andaman and Nicobar, Goa and some parts of the southern states are not taking a benefit from the various schemes of the Council for which some percentage of the sanctioned budget is earmarked. My dead belief is that such kind of programme will create awareness amongst the stakeholders of Urdu and hope they will come forward to take a lot of benefit from the various schemes of the Council which is run for furtherance of the cause of Urdu nook and corner of the country,'' he said.
