nCoV: Five fresh cases surfaces in Hoshiarpur; tally at 129

Hoshiarpur, Jul 16 (UNI) Hoshiyarpur in Punjab reported five fresh cases of Coronavirus on Thursday taking the district's tally to 219, including seven deaths.
In a release here, Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur, Dr Jasbir Singh said the health department today received reports of 591 samples of which 52-year-old ASI of Punjab police, a 32-year-old BSF jawan of village Balour, 40-year-old person of village Dhadhar, 49-year-old of village Kaintha (Dasuya) and 54-year-old woman of local Civil Line were found infected with novel coronavirus.
As many as 743 new samples of persons having symptoms of flu had been taken in the district today.
