Vijayawada, Sep 20 (UNI) As many as 7,738 fresh cases of coronavirus were reported in Andhra Pradesh, while 57 more patients died in the past 24 hours.
According to a health bulletin here on Sunday, 70,455 swab samples were tested in a period of 24 hours, of which 7,738 were tested positive for coronavirus, taking the total number of positive cases to 6,25,514.
With the death of 57 patients in 24 hours, the total number of deaths mounted to 5,359. Large number of deaths of Covid-19 has taken place in Chittoor district (587), followed by East Godavari (485), Guntur district (494), Kurnool district (444), West Godavari district (417) and Prakasham district (418).
