Raipur, Jul 9 (UNI) Chhattisgarh registered a record number of 153 new Coronavirus positive patients during the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 68 patients were discharged from hospitals after recovery. A Coronavirus infected person also died.
According to information received from health department, 56 out of 153 new Coronavirus positive patients belong to Raipur whereas 45 patients were found in Narayanpur, 13 in Bijapur, 9 in Korba, 6 in Sarguja, 5 each in Balrampur and Bilaspur, 3 in Janjgir, 2 each in Dantewada, Kanker and Bemetara and 1 each in Durg, Rajnandgaon, Kawardha, Surajpur and Jashpur.
Total 196150 suspected Coronavirus patients were identified in the state so far and their samples were sent to labs for testing. Of them, 3679 samples tested positive for Coronavirus. Presently, 761 active Coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals of the state while 2903 patients were so far discharged from hospitals after recovery. Coronavirus also led to 15 deaths in the state so far.
