NCC cadets in place of small school children during  I-Day celebrations due to COVID

New Delhi, Aug 14 (UNI) The school children who are one of important attractions of the I-Day celebrations have been kept away from the event this time in view of the COVID situation and their safety.
Instead of the small school children , NCC cadets will be made to participate in their place to ensure their safety in the pandemic times , and the NCC cader will sit on the 'Gyanpath' instead of the children this time.
The programme this time will commence with the singing of the patriotic songs by NCC cadets at 0630 hours, who have been invited as per the invitation basis in view of the situation.
