NCB vigilance to probe bribery charges against Wankhede, others

Mumbai, Oct 27 (UNI) A vigilance team of the Narcotics Control Bureau has initiated a probe into the multi-crore bribery charges levelled by cruise drugs case independent witness, informed NCB Deputy Director General (SW Region) Gyaneshwar Singh on Wednesday.
Talking to media persons here, he stated that witness Prabhakar Sail accused that the NCB officials, involved in probing the cruise case, demanded Rs 25 crore in lieu of releasing accused Aryan, son of actor Shah Rukh Khan.
Hence, an order has been given to conduct a departmental inquiry into the allegation against probing officer Sameer Wankhede.
