Naxalites set fire to mobile tower

Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Oct 14 (UNI) Naxalites set fire to a mobile tower late last night, escalating Maoist violence. The incident took place in Bahda village, located in the dense Saranda forest area of West Singhbhum district.
According to local sources, around a dozen armed Naxalites entered the village under the cover of darkness, warning residents to remain indoors before pouring petrol on the tower’s battery and panel equipment and setting them on fire.
Within minutes, the tower was engulfed in flames, and loud explosions were heard as the equipment burned and burst. Residents reported that the sounds of blasts continued until around 1 am.

Patna, Nov 12 (UNI) BJP on Wednesdayay said NDA would surpass the number of seats the exit polls have predicted for the coalition in the Bihar assembly polls and RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav would struggle to get even the status of the Leader of the Opposition.
National spokesman of BJP Shahnawaz Hussain, while reacting to Tejashwi's statement rejecting the findings of various exit polls, said it was surprising that a scientific analysis of agencies was rejected by the RJD leader whose credibility was nowhere, he remarked.
