Navratras to begin Sept 22, Vaishno Devi Shrine Board reviews yatra preparedness

Jammu, Sep 13 (UNI) With the nine-day Navratras scheduled to begin from September 22, and to ensure seamless pilgrimage during the festival time, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), today presided over a joint meeting at the Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra.
The CEO convened the meeting with security agencies and local authorities for a comprehensive review of the preparations for the upcoming Navratra scheduled to start from September 22 and continue till October 1, 2025.
The meeting was attended by Additional CEO, SMVDSB; SSP Reasi; Commandant, CRPF; Jt. CEO, SMVDSB; SDM Katra; SP Katra; Dy. CEO; Asstt. CEOs, SMVDSB; Tehsildar, Bhawan & SMVDSB; SDPO Katra; and representatives from the Army, Fire and Emergency Services and other allied agencies.
