Naveen performs ground breaking and inauguration of 18 projects worth over Rs 2196 cr

Bhubaneswar, Feb 19 (UNI) Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today performed groundbreaking and inauguration of 18 industrial projects at an investment of Rs 2196.30 crore.
Food processing including seafood, a strategic priority of the State Government’s industrialisation plan contributed over half of the projects which will strengthen Odisha’s position as the food processing hub of Eastern India.
The four projects which were inaugurated today includes Rs 401 crore 1.50 MTPA cement grinding unit and 15 MW CCP of Emami Cement at Kalinga Nagar in Jajpur district, Rs 45 crore 3 MT Pasta manufacturing unit at Jagatpur of Jay Bharat Spices, a Rs 40 crore pellet plant at Kalinganagar of Brahamani Rivers Pellet Ltd and a Fly Ash brick and AAC Block unit at Khura of Utkal Bricks and Industries Pvt Ltd.

Aizawl, April 25 (UNI) Almost 600 buildings and structures in human habitations have been damaged or destroyed in massive hailstorms and thunderstorms accompanied by cloudbursts or strong winds in the northern parts of Mizoram since Saturday, state Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department officials said on Thursday.
