Naveen Patnaik lays foundation stone for Rs 241 cr pipe water supply project

Kendrapara, Dec 08 (UNI) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today laid the foundation stone for the Rs 241 crore mega pipe water supply project at Sarumunha village under Mahakalapada Assembly constituency under Basudha yojana in a bid to solve the drinking water problem of the people of the area.
Laying the foundation, the Chief Minister said his government always give emphasis on development of the state. He said in the coming days a riverine port would be set up in Akhadasali under Mahakalapada block of the district.
Panchayatiraj Minister Pradip Maharathi said the water supply project the project has already been approved by the state cabinet and the tender for the project has already been approved.
