Mr Patnaik said though the state managed to contain the Maoist menace in areas bordering the neighbouring states but the recent movement and activities of Maoist cadres in the districts of Bolangir,Kalahandi,Kandhamal and Boudh was worrisome. The Chief Minister said this while addressing the concluding day of the two-day senior Police officers conference here.
