According to a press release here today, the event will coincide with the graduation of the first batch of the eight-week Regional Maritime Security Course for senior officers of the rank of Captain/Colonel of Maritime Security Agencies from Friendly Foreign Countries. The Symposium, with the theme Regional Cooperative Maritime Security seeks to explore avenues to strengthen regional security mechanisms and cooperative security frameworks.
