Nature is the best beauty enhancer: Aditi Rao

Nature is the best beauty enhancer: Aditi Rao

By Shalini Sajwan

New Delhi, Aug 9 (UNI) Bollywood diva Aditi Rao Hydari said she does not believe much in the concept of cosmetology to preserve her youthful skin and rather, turns to nature to keep up the glow.
Wearing a hand-painted floral sari by ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee in muted hues of cream and pink, teamed with a sequined blouse and a pair of teardrop danglers, the petite actor looked lovely.
A soft pink lip gloss and hair tied in a ponytail completed her subtle look.
Talking about her experience in Vogue Wedding Show to UNI, Aditi said, 'This is the first time Vogue have chosen an actor as the face of Vogue Wedding Show, which makes it so very exciting and interesting.
" 'I think the way they have arranged everything is beautiful.
The platform provided by the VDS is very sorted and there was no confusion.
'It's amazing to have one-on-one with people, specially jewellers.
I know a lot of designers, but not much of jewellers.
I love jewellery, so meeting the people behind those gorgeous designs, be it ornaments or costumes, was just awesome.
I got to do that, although I was not shopping.
' 'It was also nice to meet so many people under one roof.
I don't think that has ever happened,' she added.
Sharing her beauty secrets, the actor, who recently got the Vogue Flawless Award, said, 'I don't use heavy beauty products.
I use simple moisturizers and natural products like honey and curd.
Being natural is always the best way to look beautiful.
'I think for most people, beauty is about vanity, insecurity and a lot of burden to take on their shoulders, but for me it's about cleanliness and being a positive person, which makes everything just so easy," she said.
Talking about Fashion the actor said, 'Style is inherent and a very personal thing, while fashion is like a playground, where you play around with a lot of clothes, accessories and stuff like that, in style.
' 'Ultimately, you should be happy with what you are wearing, because at the end of the day, you should be able to carry off the stuff you are wearing, not the other way around.
'Style is about personality as well, and your personality should match your apparels.
It's a combination, as you cannot depend on some stuff, which cost you the earth and expect that you look great in it, without adding your touch to it.
'Be happy, be yourself.
Don't try to copy and imitate someone.
You take inspiration, but you have to make it your own,' she added.
