National Grid will make transmission of power from any corner easier: Minister

Aurangabad, Feb 20 (UNI) Union Power, New and Renewable Minister Raj Kumar Sing today said that transmission of power from one corner of the country to another would become easier once the national grid became fully operational.
Mr Singh told newspersons inside Bharatiya Rail Bijlee Company Limited`s thermal power project premises that electricity even up to 10,000 MWs could be supplied to any part of the country without any difficulty. In the event of black out in any part of the country, power could be supplied to that particular area through national grid, he added.
‘National Grid will immensely help maintain power system and supply in any part of the country,” he added.
