Bengaluru, Aug 10 (UNI) Indian Hockey team forward Mandeep Singh became the sixth national player to test positive for Novel Coronavirus on Monday.
According to the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Southern Region, in the outskirts of the city, the RT PCR test was conducted on 20 players camping at the National Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
Mandeep, who is asymptomatic, is being administered treatment by doctors, along with the other five players, who also tested positive.
The players had returned to the national hockey camp after a month-long break.
