Nashik hotelier dies after hospitals refuse admission

Nashik, Jul 10 (UNI) A well-known hotelier died apparently after several hospitals in this city turned him away, causing him to panic and eventually suffer a heart attack, family of the deceased said here on Friday.
According to the aggrieved kin, Nandu Kerappa Gawli (58) complained of difficulty in breathing on July 8. Subsequently, he was rushed to a private hospital but it refused to intake him.
As Nandu's condition worsened, the relatives took him to several other hospitals but they also refused to admit him. Finally, it was decided to go to the civic hospital however he died before reaching there.
The locals have expressed severe displeasure over the inhumane and negligent behavior of the hospitals. While, the kin sighed that he could have been saved, if timely treatment had been provided.
