NASA seeks US industry's partnership to develop first element of Gateway

Los Angeles, June 25 (UNI) The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has sought US industry's partnership for developing the first element of the Gateway, which will become the orbital outpost for robotic and human exploration operations in deep space.
The space agency released a draft solicitation in this regard through a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) this week.
As part of the agency's Exploration Campaign, the Gateway will support exploration on and near the Moon, and beyond, including Mars. The draft BAA is the first call from NASA to US industry to acquire an element for the Gateway, a report in Chinese news agency Xinhua said.
