Nanded industrialist arrested for abetting merchant's suicide

Nanded, Jul 12 (UNI) The Bhagya Nagar police on Thursday arrested an
industrialist for allegedly abetting suicide of a merchant here.
The deceased, Suman Rammohan Kanagala (60), a resident of Vidyanagar
and merchant of electronic goods, committed suicide by shooting
himself with his licensed revolver on late Wednesday evening, police
said.
During investigation, police recovered a three-page suicide note
from the deceased's house mentioning that he was allegedly tortured
by Nanded industrialist Chandrakant Gavhane, two Hyderabad-based
residents Bala Reddy and Vinod Reddy and Bhubaneswar-based
Chandrakant Gupta, which compelled him to commit suicide.
Acting on the complaint lodged by brother of the deceased Murali
Mohan Ram Mohan Kangala (55), police filed a case under sections 306
and 34 of Indian Penal Code against the accused persons and arrested
Gavane from his Ganesh Nagar residence.
The deceased had brought his revolver from a bank locker two days
ago and had obtained licence for the same in 2011, sources added.
