Nalco dedicates five more BOVs for sick, senior citizens to visit Jagannath temple

Bhubaneswar, Nov13 (UNI) Navratna PSU National Aluminium Company Ltd (NALCO) today dedicated five more environment-friendly battery-operated vehicles (BOVs) to fulfill its commitment to make Puri a Swachh Iconic Place.
These vehicles will be used for the benefit of differently-abled, sick persons and senior citizens and commute between Jagannath temple and Jagannath Ballav Math in Puri.
With the addition of the electric vehicles today, NALCO has given 12 vehicles. The company has already been plying 5 electric vehicles between Jagannath Ballav Math and Jagannath temple while two electric vehicles are operating in Puri station for the benefit of tourist and pilgrims.
The noble initiative by NALCO will help pilgrims and tourists to commute hassle-free and smoothly in Puri.
Besides, the BOV launch, one fully equipped PCR Van was also presented to Puri Police.

Anaj Mandi of Delhi, former MP and Rashtriya Lok Samta Party (RLSP- secular) leader,
Dr Arun Kumar today said the hapless labourer were leaving their home only to perish
in horrific situation and alleged that Bihar Government deliberately ignored initiating
even a single step to prevent large scale exodus of labourer from the state in want of industrialisation.
