Naidu launches bus yatra

Vijayawada, Feb 19 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) National President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the development in Andhra Pradesh had come a halt due to misrule of YSRCP government.

Mr.Naidu launched his bus yatra, christened as “Praja Chaitanya Yatra” at Martur in Prakasam district on Wednesday.

Addressing a huge crowd on the occasion, he alleged that the state had fallen into the hands of ‘Tughlaq’ and the progress had backtracked.

He pointed out that the state had lost Rs.1.50 lakh crore investment due to wrong policies of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy headed government. The Singapore Consortium, BR Sheety groups announced that they would not invest in Andhra Pradesh.

The management of KIA motors was threatened by the ruling party leaders, he alleged.

“Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed you to give him once chance to rule the State. You have given the same and now we are witnessing the consequences”, the former Chief Minister said

“Capital city Amaravati and Polavaram irrigation project, across the river Godavari, are two eyes of Andhra Pradesh. The YSRCP government has ruined Amaravati and construction of Polavaram project is being carried out in tardy manner” he said, questioning the YSRCP government who asked for three capital cities.

Mr.Naidu alleged that SC/ST Atrocities Act is misused in the state as cases under the Act are being registered against the TDP leaders.

The suicides of farmers increased as the government failed to provide them the remunerative price for their produce, he regretted.

He asked people to assess how was the state during his regime and how it has been for the last 9 months.
