Nagaland to observe World Music Day on June 21 at Kohima

Kohima, Jun 18 (UNI) The Kohima Village, the Biggest Village in Asia is scheduled to celebrate World Music Day on June 21 at Mission Compound, organised by DKs Entertainment Group and supported by Music Task Force (MTF), under the Nagaland Ministry of Youth Resource and Sports and Orient Enterprises.
According to an official statement issued today, the day will be celebrated under the theme “Tapping the untapped Talents” by giving platform to the many underprivileged upcoming young artists.
The legendary Naga musician, Methaneilie Solo (Jütakhrie) will be the Chief Guest during the programme. The one and only winner of MTV Indian Desi Rock Beat Contest, Divine Connection (DC) would perform as a motivating band who would also give away certificates to the participants.
