Kohima, Aug 3 (UNI) In the continues COVID-19 positive cases in Nagaland, the state today recorded 194 confirmed COVID positive cases, giving the raise of positive cases to 2,129 so far. Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom in his updated on Twitter informed that altogether 8,456 suspected COVID cases were tested today, out of which 194 COVID positive cases were found. The spike in COVID-19 cases continues to surge unabated in Nagaland and broke the daily record today with 194 confirmed infections. Out of these, 136 were registered from Dimapur, while there were 36 cases from Zunheboto and 22 cases from Kohima, he informed.
“Necessary contact tracing have been activated and all primary contacts are under self isolation,” he added.
The COVID-19 status in Nagaland as of today stood as- total cases– 2,129 which active cases-1,473, total recovered 648 and deaths-4.
