Nagaland NPF greets voters for electing 4 MLAs in Manipur

KOHIMA, MAR 12 (UNI) The Naga People’s Front, Central Office, wishes to congratulate the party rank and file in Nagaland and especially voters in Manipur State, for ensuring the victory of four of NPF candidates who have been declared elected

In a release issued by the Chief Minister and NPF President Dr. Shurhozelie congratulated the elected NPF legislators from their respective Constituencies and would like to place on record our deep and sincere appreciation to the Nagaland Minister in charge of NPF Manipur State Unit Yitachu. The NPF Central office reiterates its stand to rid the region of the Congress party and pledges our support to any non-Congress coalition Government in Manipur.

Meanwhile, Nagaland Lok Sabha MP, Neiphiu Rio on Saturday congratulated the Bharatiya Janata Party Naga Peoples’ Front and the National People’s Party (NPP) for their electoral win in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Manipur.

In a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and General Secretary Ram Madhav, Rio congratulated the party for the landslide victories in UP and Uttarakhandand and BJP’s performance in Manipur. He said the inspiring leadership of the BJP led by Narendra Modi and Amit Shah and the Central party leaders was instrumental and remarkable. With this, Rio was positive that the BJP-led NDA would be further strengthened to the country forward.

Rio also congratulated NPF president, Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu for the party winning four seats in Manipur. He said NPF was able to come this far because of the competent leadership and effort put in by the president. Rio was of the firm believe that NPF would do better even in the coming days, the message said.
