Nagaland NNPG signs agreement with Centre

Kohima Nov 18 (UNI) In the efforts of the Union Government towards the solution of the vexed Naga political problem, the Working Committee (WC) comprising of six Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs) has reportedly signed an agreement with the Government of India yesterday.
According to a report received today after an official talk between government of India and WC of the NNPG has signed the agreement which recognised the political and historical rights of the Nagas to self determine their future in consonance with their distinct identity.
Report said that the Interlocutor to Naga Peace Talks of the Government of India R. N. Ravi and the NNPG Working Committee led by its convener N. Kitovi Zhimomi and co-conveners are Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) Kedallo, Zhopra Vero; Secretary Naga National Council (NNC parent body) V. Nagi; NPGN/NNC (NA) ato kilonser Hozheto; President of NSCN (R) Wangtin Naga; NNC/GDRN (NA) President, Kiumukam Yimchungru, signed the agreement yesterday.
