Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 2 2017 4:53PM Nagaland Minister Paiwang flags off chopper service from DimapurKohima, Jan 2 (UNI) Nagaland Minister for Transport, Civil Aviation, IT &C and Border Affairs Paiwang Konyak flagged off the State Helicopter service today at Dimapur Airport, to be operated by Global Vectra Helicorp Limited (GVHL) for a period of 2 years. Inaugurating the GVHL service, who are all set for starting the State Helicopter Service from today till 31st December 2018 as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Paiwang impressed upon them for adapting themselves to the local environment and to deliver quality services to the people with the paramount safety aspect, so that their services rendered towards the people of Nagaland would always be cherished. Further, Konyak urged upon the people of Nagaland availing the services to cooperate with the personnel of GVHL reminding them that unlike motor vehicle transportation, many times air service regulations, weather conditions, technical and State Emergency requirement may restrict the service causing last minute cancellation.
