Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Oct 20 2016 5:25PM Nagaland Health Dept takes measures to control dengue in DimapurKohima, Oct 20 (UNI) The Urban Vector Borne Disease Control Scheme (UVBDCS) Dimapur has stated that despite its best efforts in controlling the vectors with all the integrated vector controls measures in Dimapur town. According to a statement, today UVBDCS Dimapur Assistant Director Kikolul Khieya the control measures are like seeding of larvivorous fish, Larvicidical operation (Temephos 50 per cent ) and fogging of technical Malathion- 50 per cent, Dimapur town has reported a few dengue cases with the increasing densities of mosquitoes breeding places in many localities. He has requested the public and Colony Councils to observe a dry day social work once in a week by draining all the water containers in order to control the densities of mosquitoes, which in turn would bring down the cases.
