Nagaland Governor condoles demise of ex-CM of Manipur

Kohima, Apr 03 (UNI) Nagaland Governor P B Acharya has express grieve at the demise of former Chief Minister of Manipur R K Dorendro Singh, a veteran politician on 30th March last. According to a statement issued by the PRO of Raj Bhavan of Kohima today, in a condolence message, Acharya described Late R K Dorendro Singh as a personal friend and a good human being and stated that his contributions for the welfare of the people of Manipur in particular and the country in general, will be remembered forever.
He said Late R K Dorendro Singh was four times Chief Minister of Manipur from 1974 and 1993 who also served as speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly and MP, Rajya Sabha.
In his demise, people of Manipur have lost a tall and prominent leader, he added.
