Nagaland appeals for individual change to bring change in state

Kohima Jul 23 (UNI) Nagaland Adviser for Economics & Statistics, Fisheries
& Aquatic Resources & Evaluation L. Khumo today said that Nagaland
Chief Minister has been taking a great initiative to bring change, but unless
each individual change, no one can bring change to the State.
Inaugurating the new Directorate building of Economics & Statistics here
this morning Khumo appealed to the officers and staffs to maintain discipline
in their work and carry out their duties with sincerity and integrity.
He called upon the officers and staff to reach out to the people. He also
released the Nagaland Statistical Handbook, 2018.
Nagaland Commissioner and Secretary for Economics & Statistics Kelei
Zeliang said the officers and staff are blessed to work under the roof of a
new building with better facilities and urged everyone to give their best
performance, dedication and devote their duties for the betterment of the
department and the state.
He highlighted the activities and achievements of the department and
said that though being a small department, it has a got lot of annual
activities such as- Nagaland Economic Survey, Gross State Domestic
Product, and Registration if Birth& Death (vital statistics), Village
Development indicator, price Statistics, statistical Handbook, National
Sample Survey, Housing Statistics, Gender Statistics and Government
Employees Census.
