Hyderabad, Aug 18 (UNI) BJP working President J P Nadda has lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for unfulfilled poll promises and growing corruption.
Addressing a public meeting at the Exhibition grounds here on Sunday evening, Mr Nadda said that the cost of the Kalleshwara irrigation project had been jacked up to Rs one lakh crores from the original Rs 30,000 crores.
Similarly, projects like Mission Kakatiya irrigation scheme had become mission for commission,he charged added tha tno auditing was done for the Haritaharam green cover improvement scheme.
He further said how many people had been allotted the two-bed room houses,the much publicised scheme of the TRS government.
He stated that Ayushmaan Bharat health scheme launched by the Centre which was appreciated the world over and even become role model for some developed countries was not accepted by Mr Rao.
Mr Nadda further stated that the Centre had always been generous towards Telangana and soon after the state's request for AIMS, it had sanctioned the same without loss of time.
Exuding confidence that the BJP would come to power in the state, Mr Nadda claimed that Prime Minister Narender Modi's leadership and the BJP alone can take the country forward.
He further claimed that the BJP alone was a democratic party while most other parties believed in family rule.
The BJP leader asserted that the Modi government had turned the dream of one nation and one constitution into a reality by scrapping Article 370 thereby solving the sevendecades old Kashmir problem.
Mr Nadda criticised the Congress for terming Art 370 as a temporary adjustment but continued it for 70 years for the sake of votes.
Listing out the various welfare and development schemes launched by the Modi government, he said that the country would soon join the band of nations having five trillion dollars economies.
BJP Telangana unit president K Laxman and former union minister B Dttareya who also spoke lashed out the TRS government for its omissions and commissions.
Union minister for state for Home G.Kishan Reddy and BJP general secretary Muralidhar Rao were also present.
