Nadda flays Rahul for skipping Defence Committee meets and demoralising forces

New Delhi, Jul 6 (UNI ) Taking a dig at former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday said the former has not attended any meeting of Defence Committee but is quick to demoralise the nation and question the valour of the armed forces.
He said the Congress leader was nominated as the Defence Committee member in September 2019 , and since then, the committee has met 12 times but Mr Gandhi has not attended a single meeting till date.
However, he has been continuously taking pot shots at the Prime Minister since the India-China face-off in Galwan Valley.
Taking to twitter this morning, Mr Nadda said, ' Rahul Gandhi is associated and is a part of such a glorious legacy of a family where such committees mean less. There are several leaders in Congress who understand the importance of parliamentary committees and matters , however, the royal family hardly lets any such leader to rise and come forward", he added.
