NABARD sanctions short term refinance to Goa State Cooperative Bank Ltd

Panaji, Oct 31 (UNI) Goa Regional Office, NABARD, has sanctioned short term refinance (others) assistance of Rs 20.00 crore to The Goa State Cooperative Bank Ltd towards working capital requirements of Societies and Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS).
Thus, the Goa State Cooperative Bank has been brought on the refinance map of NABARD after a gap of 24 odd years. The sanction of refinance by NABARD will ultimately benefit the farmers of the state.
Usha Ramesh, General Manager/ OIC, handed over sanction letter to Anant Chodankar, MD, Goa State Cooperative Bank in the presence of Krishna Kudnekar, Director, Goa State Cooperative Bank and Premananda Chawadekar, Director, Goa State Cooperative Bank and Vasant Savardekar, DGM, NABARD and other RO officials.
