NABARD sanctions loan of Rs 183.98 cr under (RIDF) for Haryana

Chandigarh, Sep 9 (UNI) National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned a loan of Rs 183.98 crore under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for Haryana.
Stating this here today, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh said the loan has been sanctioned for construction of three new bridges and construction as well as improvement of 26 roads in nine districts namely Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Jind, Gurgaon, Mahendergarh, Faridabad, Hisar, Karnal and Rewari. He said the total length of these bridges and roads would be 186.21 Km.
Giving details of the new rural bridges, he said one bridge would be constructed at a cost of Rs 7.8 crore in district Panchkula whereas two bridges costing Rs 21.96 crore would be built in district Yamunanagar.
