MyGate launches security system for gated colonies in UP

Lucknow, Jan 28 (UNI) MyGate, India’s leading security and community management solution for gated societies, on Tuesday formally announced its foray into Uttar Pradesh.
The company has already received great response in Noida, Lucknow and Kanpur, during which it was adopted by over 50,000 homes within 250 gated communities. Its mobile-based solution will now be available in every corner of these cities, and, in the coming quarters, expand to the cities of Allahabad, Agra and Meerut.
Mr Abhishek Kumar, COO & Co-founder, MyGate told reporters here on Tuesday that “Uttar Pradesh is seeing a wave of new developments, and is, therefore, a strategic market in our expansion plan. We’re excited with the response received in Noida, Lucknow and Kanpur and have begun to see inbound demand from nearby cities as well. We have scaled up our team in the region in line with this demand and are eager to deliver the MyGate experience to residents across the state.”
He said that the company’s is underway on major expansion plan following its $56 million Series B funding announcement in October 2019.
Mr Kumar said the company is aiming to secure 200,000 homes across the state over the coming 12 months. Few of the popular communities in Uttar Pradesh where MyGate is already present are Eldeco City, Omega Green Park and Omaxe Residency in Lucknow and ATS Greens village, Cleo County, Supertech Supernova in Noida area. MyGate has on-ground teams in Noida, Lucknow and Kanpur, and is in the process of setting up teams in the state’s other major cities.
Ten of Uttar Pradesh’s cities have been selected for the Smart Cities Mission, and the state as a whole is seeing a rise in the number of gated communities. As a result, some of its cities now regularly feature among the fastest developing real estate markets in India. Noida and Lucknow recorded the highest growth of 9.4 per cent in housing prices in 2018 according to National Housing Bank’s price index (NHB Residex), India’s first housing price index (HPI), with Allahabad and Kanpur named among the fastest developing real estate markets in India.
He said residential complexes in Uttar Pradesh’s major cities can now deploy the MyGate solution in six days without any investment in hardware or any capital expenditure. The solution is provided in a pay-as-you-go pricing model, and the company provides and manages the training of facility staff, security guards and residents.
MyGate is a mobile-app-based system that enhances security and convenience for over 1.2 million residents in 6000+ gated communities by digitizing and automating their manual tasks. With MyGate, societies have a comprehensive one stop solution for managing all the affairs within a community. MyGate offers several advanced capabilities such as e-intercom (automatic visitor authentication), child safety alerts, staff management, infrastructure-free vehicle management, touchless resident identification, clubhouse access management and admin dashboards/reporting. Apart from these, MyGate also helps resident welfare associations (RWAs) to manage their society accounting, payments from residents, help desk, internal communications and other value-adds.
