Chandigarh, Oct 15 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Tuesday iterated that his government was committed to making the state a medical education hub.
Chairing a meeting to review the work on the ongoing medical colleges in the state, he asked the officers to ensure their completion in a time-bound manner. Mann said work was on in full swing for constructing the upcoming medical colleges at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Kapurthala, Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Malerkotla.
The Chief Minister said the medical colleges and hospitals would make the state a hub of medical education in the country, thereby immensely benefitting the people of Punjab.
