MVA Govt to run in accordance with Constitution: PWD Minister

Nanded, Jan 27 (UNI) The Maha Vikas Aghadi government, comprising the Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress, will run only in accordance with the Constitution as per the instructions of Congress president Sonia Gandhi else the party will quit the government, warned PWD Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan.
Addressing a programme organised to mark the Republic Day on Sunday, he said that Ms Gandhi was not ready for formation of the government in alliance with Shiv Sena and NCP as she was doubtful about the working of the government of three parties, with three different schools of thinking, but after being convinced she agreed to be a part of the government.
“We got an agreement in writing from Shiv Sena that no work will be done against the preamble of the Constitution, else we will quit the alliance,” the former chief minister said.
