Kolhapur, Feb 20 (UNI) NCP (Sharad Pawar group) chief Sharad Pawar on Tuesday claimed that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) -- comprising Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar) and Congress -- have reached a consensus on 39 seats out of total 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra.
Talking with reporters here, he said that the MVA constituents have agreed on 39 LS seats in the state and discussion on other two to three seats was on between him and Congress leader Sonia Gandhi and Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, and the final decision on this issue would be taken soon, he informed.
Asked whether Shrimant Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj will be a probable candidate from Kolhapur Lok Sabha constituency, Pawar replied that the leaders of alliance partners will take a decision on this issue.
