MVA backing corrupt ministers and ignoring just demands of the people : BJP

Aurangabad, Nov 28(UNI) Former Maharashtra minister and BJP Jamner constituency MLA Girish Mahajan has criticized the Uddhav Thackeray led MVA state government for backing accused ministers of corruption and misconduct and for ignoring the just demands of many sections of the society such as farmers, MSRTC employees and students.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday at the BJP office to expose the failures of the state government on the backdrop of completing two years of rule, Mahajan said that the alliance government is very inefficient, reckless which carries the burden of corrupt ministers.
"The Home Minister(Anil Deshmukh) was forced to resign after a police officer(Parambir Singh) accused him of recovering Rs 100 crore per month , while another (Sanjay Rathod) was forced to resign after being accused of being responsible for a young woman's suicide. An inquiry is underway of Transport Minister (Anil Parab) through Enforcement Directorate. The Income Tax Department has started an inquiry into the disproportionate assets of persons and organizations belonging to the Deputy Chief Minister. A woman has accused the social welfare minister(Dhananjay Munde) of rape. Housing Minister Awhad was arrested in connection to beating a youth. A complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission alleging that the Chief Minister himself withheld information about assets in his candidature application" said Mahajan.
