Muzzling the voice of media: Cong sends memorandum to HP CM

Shimla, May 16 (UNI) The state Unit of Congress Committee on Saturday sent a memorandum to Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, opposing the registration of FIRs against five journalists in the state.
A statement issued by the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee alleged that multiple FIRs were lodged against five journalists, which should be condemned. The party also demanded to immediately cancel all the FIRs lodged against the journalists.
