New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) After travelling in several cities across the country, the 8th edition of the Jagran Film Festival, India’s BIG Travelling Film Festival, will conduct its last leg in Mumbai next month. The Festival authorities have invited entries from film makers across the globe for its various Competitive sections with August 31 2017 as the Closing date. The films produced between August 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017 are eligible for all competitive sections and awards at the Festival. More details about the regulations and awards are available on the Festival’s website: www.jff.co.in The festival, with its noble objective of taking cinema to the masses in smaller cities of India, arrives in Mumbai in its last leg after travelling to 16 cities this year. Beginning with New Delhi on July 1, 2017, the Festival travelled to cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Patna, Bhopal, Ranchi, Indore, Ludhiana, Dehradoon and many others. It will culminate in Mumbai with a gala film award ceremony in September 2017. The Festival will have its week long run in Mumbai screenings that include a stellar a line-up of films from across the world.
