Multi disciplinary committee to check rice loaded into African ship: Collector

Kakinada, Dec 3 (UNI) The entire rice loaded in to the ship 'Stella L' anchored in the anchorage port here for exporting to African countries would be thoroughly checked to find out whether the rice is being illegally being exported, said district Collector Shan Mohan.
Addressing a media conference along with district SP Dr Vikranth Patil at the Collectorate here on Tuesday , the Collector has announced that a multi disciplinary committee comprising of officers from five government departments was appointed to conduct a thorough check up in all aspects of the rice loaded in to the ship anchored in the anchorage port.
He said the ship was very well in the anchorage port and under the control of port authorities.
