Mughal road remains shut for 6th day, Kashmir highway through for one-way only

Srinagar, Dec 15 (UNI) The historic Mughal road, connecting Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region remained closed for the sixth day on Saturday due to accumulation of several feet of snow and slippery road conditions.
Hundreds of vehicles, including those stranded for the past three days, left Kashmir valley for winter capital this morning as only one-way traffic will continue to ply on 300-km-long Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
