Mudragada kept under house arrest: New twist to reservation stir

Kakinada, Oct 7(UNI) Former Minister and Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham who is spearheading the Kapu reservation movement, has been once again kept under house arrest to prevent him from going ahead with his plan of personal interaction with all sections of kapus at their doorsteps in Konaseema villages for two days commencing from Sunday.

Three other prominent Kapu JAC leaders of Konaseema were also kept under house arrest, including Kapu Porata Samiti chairman Nalla Vishnu, convener Kalvakolanu Tataji in Amalapuram and co-convenor Akula Ramakrishna in Gopalapuram.However the other Kapu JAC leaders including Vasireddy Yesudas, Nunna Venkataramana were not touched as they are from other regions of the East Godavari district.
