MSAI, Sikkim Manipal Institute celebrate WED

Gangtok, Nov 11 (UNI ) Sikkim Members of Medical Students Association of India, (MSAI) organised an awareness programme on Health, commemorating the World Education Day on the occasion of Birth
Anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, first Education Minister of Country. Dean SMIMS, Brig(rtd) Dr VK Mehta, extended support to the awareness generation on WED.
The programme at Central Referral Hospital Manipal Institute of Medical Science, here focused on Alzheimer’s disease and Breast Cancer, Mood changes, Loss of Memory, difficulty in performing day to
day activities were also talked about.
Dr Sanjiba Dutta,Head of Deptt of Psychiatry, informed the gathering that Alzeimer’s disease will be the new epidemic by 2040.
