Jabalpur, MP, June 27 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court today granted conditional permanent bail on health grounds to an accused who was dismissed from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) for graft.

Justice SK Gangele gave the ruling vis-à-vis Arvind Joshi. In February 2010, an Income Tax raid at the residence of Joshi and his wife Tinu – who was also in the IAS – yielded Rs 3.06 crore, foreign currency and jewellery. In December that year, the Lokayukta registered a case against the couple who were expelled from service in July 2014.
