MPCC chief takes swipe at Mahayuti Govt

Mumbai, Feb 28 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole on Wednesday took a swipe at the Mahayuti government, alleging that Rs 12.73 crore have been spent on the stage and another Rs 3.5 crore has been spent on helipad for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Yavatmal in Vidarbha region.
Addressing a press conference at party head office here, he charged that the state machinery is being misused for Modi's Yavatmal visit.
He claimed that Asha workers and members of women's self-help groups were forcibly taken for the meeting.
