MPCC chief takes swipe at Mahayuti Govt over Samruddhi expressway

Mumbai, Mar 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole on Saturday took a swipe at the Mahayuti government, saying that potholes on Samruddhi expressway has not only exposed the quality of the road but has also exposed corruption in the (Eknath) Shinde-(Devendra) Fadnavis government.
Speaking in this regard, he said that the 700-km-long Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Highway was inaugurated with great fanfare by the Shinde-Fadnavis government at the hands of Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi.
However, the condition of the highway that claims to take you from Mumbai to Nagpur in 12 hours is pathetic, he remarked.
