MPCC chief reacts to Congress' poll victory in Telangana

Mumbai, Dec 3 (UNI) Reacting to the party's resounding victory in the South India's second most important state Telangana after Karnataka, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Nana Patole said on Sunday that the people of South India have closed the doors on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and have shown that its fanatical agenda had no place in South India.
"In the Telangana assembly elections, the people have voted the Congress party to victory. It is because of the immense hard work of the party workers and the trust of the people that Congress has achieved great success in Telangana," he told reporters here.
Speaking further, he said that the vote given by the people of four states was acceptable to the Congress party.
