MPCC chief criticises Maha Govt

Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president, Nana Patole, on Monday criticised the ruling Mahayuti government over its handling of drought-like situation and apathetic attitude towards people who are suffering due to severe scarcity of water in many parts of the state.
Talking to media in Nagpur, he said that drought situation in the state is very serious.
Farmers suffering from drought-like condition are allegedly committing suicide, he said and noted that many women and children have lost their lives due to heatstroke in various parts of the state while searching for water.
