MP urges Maharashtra CM to act over alleged assassination plot against Maratha activist Jarange Patil

Beed, Nov 7 (UNI) Two elected representatives from Beed district have separately written to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, expressing concern over the reported conspiracy to assassinate Maratha reservation leader Manoj Jarange Patil, and demanding strong government action.
Beed Member of Parliament Bajrang Manohar Sonawane has requested the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct a thorough and impartial probe into the alleged murder conspiracy. In his letter to the Chief Minister, Sonawane emphasised the need for a transparent investigation at senior administrative and police levels to expose those responsible for the plot.
In a separate communication, BJP MLA Suresh Dhas, who represents the Ashti–Patoda constituency in Beed district, urged the Chief Minister to provide high-level security arrangements for Jarange Patil. Dhas stated that the issue has become extremely sensitive, with growing public concern over the activist’s safety, and that immediate measures must be taken to prevent any untoward incident.
