MP to get Rs 5,62,847 cr

Indore, MP, Oct 23 (UNI) The fifth edition of the Madhya Pradesh Government’s biennial Global Investors Summit -- which concluded here today -- received 2,630 Intentions To Invest (ITI) with a cumulative value of Rs 5,62,847 crore.
“We are particularly elated at the industry’s reaction to our offer of 1,25,000 acres as land bank. Within 24 hours of announcing the offer, we allotted over 30 land parcels to investors through an online window,” an official statement quoted Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan as saying.
The Nuclear Power Corporation is to invest Rs 25,000 cr vis-à-vis a plant in Mandla, Aditya Birla Group – Rs 20,000 cr across sectors, Indian Oil Corporation – Rs 4,760 cr, Essar Group – Rs 4,500 cr in gas exploration, Syntex – Rs 2,000 cr, Procter and Gamble India – Rs 1,100 cr, Mylan Lab – Rs 700 cr, Lupin India – Rs 700 cr and Hettich – Rs 400 cr.
